Depending on the display model you are using, the back connexion might need to be inverted
If you are using special MKS LCD2004 displays , they will be compatible without any changes
In case of RepRapDiscount LCD2004 displays you will need to invert the DB10 connector at the back of the display

Any wiring process requires attention and very basic logic. any short circuit or wrong use of the board I/Os can generate fire hazard.
WARNING: make sure to check max power requirements before using any devices on any I/Os.
Warning: Make sure to check wiring polarity in order to prevent from short circuit or any electrical damages
If you are using Normal Mode (Step/Dir), you should use the jumper pins in blue to configure the drivers settings.
Avoid using the slots in RED in this mode!
If you are using the board in UART mode: (TMC2208 or TMC2209), you con configure the drivers directly from the marlin firmware itself.
1- All jumpers caps must be taken out from the red zone
2- Insert jumper caps on the UART pin area on the board (here in the blue zone)
3- Set up the drivers parameter via the marlin firmware (check file Configuration_adv.h and look for a section compatible with your driver model: TMC2208 / TMC2209 are configured the same way)
If you are using the board in SPI mode (TMC 2130) , you don't need special wires. Just insert all jumper caps on the blue zone (green jumper area on the board).
Then on your marlin firmware configure the driver model as TMC2130 or similar inside Configuration.h and check inside configuration_adv.h to setup the configuration for the driver specifics (current, working mode etc...) => look for TMC2130 inside the file and you should find the appropriate section.

After compiling, there will be firmware.bin firmware in the folder(folder path: .pioenvsLPC1768), then follow the steps below to update the firmware：
1.copy firmware.bin to SD card
2.insert SD card to MKS SGEN-L board
3.reboot MKS SGEN-L board
4.wait until firmware upgrade is completed (when successfully upgraded, the filename is changed to firmware.cur. D1, D4 and D7 on the top left corner of the board will be always on. D25 and D3 will blink
