Then you will need to follow the next steps in order to compile your firmware properly:

This folder your downloaded contains the source code for marlin2.0 and can be used on the MKS SGEN motherboard.

The compilation environment used is Atom+platformio;

Specific methods can refer to the following links:

http://marlinfw.org/docs/basics/install_platformio.html#installing-marlin-(platformio)

http://docs.platformio.org/en/latest/ide/atom.html#installation

After compiling, there will be firmware.bin firmware in the folder(folder path: .pioenvsLPC1769), then follow the steps below to update the firmware:

1.copy firmware.bin to SD card

2.insert SD card to MKS SGEN-L board

3.reboot MKS SGEN-L board

4.wait until firmware upgrade is completed (when successfully upgraded, the filename is changed to firmware.cur. D1, D4 and D7 on the top left corner of the board will be always on. D25 and D3 will blink

Drivers installation:

The driver file is named Lpc176x_USB_driver.inf located inside the source file (Marlin-bugfix-2.0.x/Marlin/src/HAL/HAL_LPC1768/win_usb_driver/  )
Plug the USB cable to your board and then enter the device manager
